Our Visual Arts Program

The Benjamin Franklin Fine Arts program consists of traditional art classes focusing on art principles, design techniques and utilizing different mediums. We offer Art I, Art II, Advanced Art, and new to the 2024-2025 school year, Ceramics!

In our traditional art classes, Art I, Art II, and Advanced Art, students will explore a range of mediums as students hone their skills and help budding artists realize their potential.

In Ceramics, students will learn the basics of sculpting and modeling earthenware clay as they learn different techniques of wedging, coiling, slab construction, carving, and wheel spinning. In addition, they will learn to use secondary mediums such as acrylic and glaze to finish their projects.

Additionally, students are able to showcase their work in our annual Art Show!
