Benjamin Franklin High School exists to develop and elevate the minds and character of its students. The driving purposes of the athletic program at BFHS is to practice and perfect virtue, and ennoble the heart on the field of competition - inspiring athletes, competitors, and spectators alike to be strong in mind, body and soul. Our High School Sports participate in the AIA, and our Jr. High Sports participate in the Desert Middle School Athletic League.

The mission of the Benjamin Franklin Fine Arts Department is to cultivate and develop student’s artistic ability and love of the arts. Creative involvement in the visual and performing arts gives balance to the classical academic curriculum. The fine arts curriculum challenges students to think creatively, encourages cooperation and collaboration, and enables students to learn about and produce art that is truly beautiful.
